Like every business, Sacrobanco was born from a need: organic, sustainable produce brought to the table to offer an healthy and more prosperous vision for the future of mankind and Earth.

Sacrobanco's mission is to educate people about the importance of local, and organic produces, wherever they are located in the world. A comeback to a path that sees us a part of the planet, and not against it.
We strongly believe that chefs have a major role in this: standing against
mass produced food, and educating people not only to cook, but also to eat,
because we really are what we ingest.

Led by Executive Chef and founder Pier Berretta, a small team of chefs and brewers join forces in a small workshop in Edinburgh, where we craft what sea and land offer us and bring them to everyone’s table via private chef catering.

FOUNDER & CHEF
The Executive chef and founder of Sacrobanco, Pier Berretta, is a person who has visited 15 countries in the world by working in the fine-dining industry. Leaving his homeland Italy at a young age, he has studied good cooking management governance in a variety of places, including Michelin-star restaurants, like Noma and Maeemo.
After having experience managing and improving food services, his goal is now to make them more sustainable in the future, through a private dining experience, that not only focuses on cooking skills but also on the building of a strong collective sustainable vision.
